Frequently asked questions

What is the Family Clock?

It is a free clock that shows the time in India and in up to six other countries on one screen, with a green, amber or red sign for whether it is a good time to call each place.

Does it remember my countries?

Yes. The countries you add are saved on your own phone or computer, so the clock is ready the next time you open it. Nothing is sent to us.

How do I add the Family Clock to my phone home screen?

On Android, open the page in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and choose Add to Home screen. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen.

Does it change automatically for daylight saving time?

Yes. It uses the time zone rules in your device, so clock changes in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are handled automatically.

How does it find the best time to call everyone?

It checks every half hour of today and finds the longest stretch when it is between about 8 AM and 9:30 PM in India and in every country you added.
